About Us
The Goldsboro Kiwanis Club is a long-standing community service organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in Wayne County. Our club’s signature project since 1955 is the Kiwanis Miniature Train in Herman Park. Generations of families remember their first train ride here, and today’s children are making the same memories. Volunteers — adults and high school Key Clubbers — keep this Goldsboro tradition alive.
In addition, the club sponsors and supports Key Clubs in area schools, giving students meaningful opportunities to volunteer, develop leadership skills, and contribute to their community. Through these programs, young people learn the value of service, responsibility, and citizenship.

Why Kiwanis?
Kids need adults who care.
That’s why people join Kiwanis clubs. We’re neighbors and friends who love serving together to make children’s lives brighter.

Here in Goldsboro our heart is local — building childhood memories and helping families
right here at home.
